Effective 5/25, an automated script will review new PowerSource users who had a data or text messaging iDEN plan before the upgrade, and move them to a plan with the same price and substantially similar features (like for like.) [iDEN data to CDMA data].
Note: The automatic script will not be applied to customers who did not previously have an iDEN data/text SOC prior to upgrade.
All Business Sales Representatives should immediately review the process outlined by the Pricing Team located in s.n.c > Products & Services > Sprint Business Portfolio – Power Five: Phones/Walkie-Talkie > PowerSource > Selling the Solution.
For iDEN customers with data/text, the system will automatically add a comparable SOC to the PowerSource device. These SOCs have the same price and similar features as the original and will be automatically added unless:
The rep upsells and provisions the customer on the $10 or $15 PowerSource Data Pack or other standard text message offer instead.
Remember to review Legal disclaimer outlining that certain features may not be available or may function differently on PowerSource vs. iDEN
If Customer specifically requests to cancel existing data/text services when upgrading to PowerSource, provision the “dummy” SOC PSDECLINE (i.e. PowerSource Decline).
Note: This is important but only necessary if the customer had data/text services previously and has chosen not to maintain these services on PowerSource
If the customer chooses to maintain current data/text services on PowerSource the Direct/Retail rep does not need to do anything.

BLACKBERRY 7520 INVENTORY UPDATE
Inventory left of the BlackBerry 7520 is currently around 20K. It is expected to last through August. Devices gathered from the BuyBack program are primarily going toward devices with service and repair needs. As we move further with the program, some of those units will be refurbished and resold. At this point, remaining inventory of the 7520 is not being designated for specific customers, so it’s first come, first serve basis.
